Guess what I got?!

(First off, I noticed we got a few new members since I went on hiatus, so a very warm welcome to all! Second, I’m almost through the hectic situation with shool and should have time to finish some of my works-in-progress very soon here.)
Just wanted to mention, I finally got the Art of Megamind for Christmas!!! YAY! Big day for me! I almost feel like it was some kind of an initiation ceremony and I can now consider myself a fully-fledged superfan!
(Incidentally, I also got the Art of Tangled and a bunch of books and games I’ve been wanting, so it was already a really great Christmas. Then I learned that Discord from MLP:FIM is (finally!) coming back in the next episode! So that just put it over the top and I can safely call it the BEST CHRISTMAS EVER!)
Back on-topic, while looking it over, I was drawn to what I’ve been calling “The Infamous Doughnut Scene.” You know, that moment where he’s wearing the Black Mamba, and he crushes a doughnut in his hand and then I assume it led into that awesome cape-swoosh as seen in that one trailer.
Does anybody know what was up with that?
I mean, I suppose I’m glad it was cut, it would have been seriously terrifying because it would be like he was turning on everything he was and all the things he was talking about earlier, if that makes any sense. (And frankly, the Black Mamba scene scares me a little to this day, so I’m fine with it not being even scarier. XD)- Current Mood:

Yeah, that kinda makes sense, then. Still, that's the sort of thing that should have been in the deleted scenes, you know?
But admittedly, the Black Mamba scene is one of my favorites, because here is Megamind trying to be all bad, but I'm like: "Dude. You *just* got *dumped* in the rain and you walked all the way home, *probably* crying. You're such a sap!"
I can't help taking the whole scene rather seriously. That moment, when his eyes harden and he's obviously decided to put all his pain into being evil... I get butterflies in my stomach even now.
