So... for a long time now, I have been thinking about writing a possible prologue and sequel to my "In the Empty Eden" fic (linked here: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/83818
I pretty have the what and how outlined but I'm having trouble with coming up with a beginning.
Basically I want the prologue be about them starting out as a couple and how they get from point A to point B. basically a lot of relationship humor/drama, what happened during the time frame when Roxanne had to beat Megs away with the Forget me stick and maybe touch on Roxanne's history with her father.
After that is finished then I would start on the sequel which would pick up where Eden left off.
Obviously, I'm working on the prologue first. My only problem though, is that I'm having a hard time trying to come up with a great beginning. I think it should start out right after the battle with Tighten where Roxanne more or less demands that Megamind owes her a dinner because of the Bernard fiasco, but because she feels guilty for yelling at him, she'll buy dessert.
I think the first few dates would be awkward since they both pretty much know everything about one another and since dating is supposed to be about learning each other I think Roxanne would suggest that they pretend they know nothing about one another and try to work it out that way.
At some point there's sexytimes, then come humorous Forget me Stick moments. but mostly it'll be about them growing as a couple (of wackos! HAH! 8D) and maturing together. (not to say they aren't mature, just, that, well, they're "finding themselves through each other.") The highs and lows of relationships and how she kind of cements herself in Meg and Minion's daily lives.
I don't know. Maybe I should work on it to get my mind off current financial troubles (Why God!!! Why me?!?!!!) but I want it to be able to live up to Eden since it's really special to me. I don't want it to be cheap, you know?
SO, now that I'm done babbling, would anyone like to put their two cents in? I could use a beta for this as well if anyone's interested

And I'm having a little trouble preparing my character on his first chapter. I was thinking of giving him a reason to be the way he is in my story. Plus I don't have a goof name for the story title
I forget easily. I just don't know how to introduce him as part of the Megamind universe.
