Birthdays of Megamind and Metro Man

This is something I have been thinking about for awhile, but just now decided to get it out there.  So, in the movie it is stated that Megamind is only 8 days old when he leaves his home planet and arrives on Earth on Christmas morning.  Assuming both, that those "8 days" refer to Earth days, and his trip lasted less than one Earth Day, it can be assumed that his birthday is around December 16th or 17th.

However, Metro Man's Birthday is more ambiguous.  I've seen a few fan fictions that assume that Metro Man and Megamind have the same birthday, but do they really?  I mean, sure, both Metro Man and Megamind arrived on Earth at the same time, but that doesn't mean they were the same age when they left their home planets.  Metro Man could have been 10 days old, a month old, or even a few months old when he arrived on Earth.

I'm just wondering, am I the only one who has thought of this, or have any of you guys wondered the same thing?

I also have another observation I'd like to discuss, but I'll leave that for another time.

We will never truly know since they are both aliens, of course, but they look to be about the same developmentally, but baby Metro Man is sassy for a baby. All that winking and smirking?

But really, he probably couldn't be much younger, and for being in his mid 30's he had a bit a gray hair (possibly inherited from his parents, it's just different for his species, and/or it's the stress of heroism), so it's not quick or slow aging probably.

When Megamind is shown as a child, he has all of his teeth, and he's awful smart compared to a human that age. Metro Man as a baby is show with three to four teeth, and obviously has superhuman powers!

So, basically, I'm no closer than you to finding an answer, hahahaha!

Those are some very good observations. I didn't notice the teeth thing. I just figured the gave the babies teeth because they looked cuter that way, even though babies that young shouldn't have teeth yet.

I can tell you from knowledge of actual cases that it is possible, though rare, for a baby to be born with a full head of hair and for a baby to be born with a few teeth. What inclines me to believe that baby Metz is older than that is his capacity for social interactions, including negative ones, i.e., blowing baby Megz a raspberry as their space ships pass. How old does a baby have to be to be able to make that noise? How old to express derision?

The other reason is astrological. Megamind is believable as a Sagittarius with his combination of world-striding grandiosity, childlike silliness and unstoppable energy. Metro Man, on the other hand, is more of a Leo, in love with the adulation of the crowd. That would make him about four months old.

(There's also a theory that blames Metro Man's gray hair on his superspeed. It makes him age faster or something.)
It's odd that you post this now; I was just thinking about this the other day. Metro Man also has a ton of hair for an 8-day old. I think it'd be safe to say he's just slightly older? I do wonder how old Minion is...
